Here are photos from the 2003 Kiehl's Badwater Ultramarathon. Gillian and I both finished; I managed to redeem my 2002 time, and finally get my buckle Ideal conditions, well over 130 degrees, high humidity, made for an very challenging run. Gillian finished in dramatic fashion, taking 30 hours to run the first 59 miles (a number of people told her there was no way she would make it) -- she blew through the last 76 miles in 29 hours!
